As the year comes to an end, it has become clear that the world is in a state of radical upheaval. Political, economic, and technological developments are presenting humanity with immense challenges. Whether we feel at the mercy of these circumstances and sink into suffering, or confidently help shape the transition toward a Golden Age, is a matter of our state of consciousness. The teachings of Sri Preethaji and Sri Krishnaji make it clear that there are only two types of states: suffering states and beautiful states.
At our New Year’s celebration, we align ourselves to release the old year from a beautiful state and begin the new one in a beautiful state. We give thanks for what was and open ourselves to what is coming—to our personal and spiritual growth, our potential, and our individual contribution to a better world.
